Harold Barnhart, Harold Weger, Mead Barnhart, Wesley Tarbert, Betty Tarbert, Bob Barnes, Norma Tarbert, Bessie Stephans, Walter Strong, Carol Weger, Mildred Barnhart. Someone is hidden behind Betty Tarbert. The name Lyle is written on the front of the photo in blue ink. I think this is the person behind Betty.

The Class of 1949 held its 60th Class reunion on July 25th 2009. With 13 Graduates and their spouses attending the Gala celebration out of only 19 remaining of the original 42.
This artistic collage depicting Deer Park's department of higher education was the highlight of a photo album for the 5oth reunion of the DPHS class of 1959. They pulled out all the stops for the biggest event when it comes to class reunions. They all wore matching Blue emblazoned with Gold lettering, A total of 5 vehicle's in the Parade. The Album was designed and published by Sharon Boyd Clark and amazingly were not all that rowdy. Our Class of 49ers celebrating our 60th contained ourselves and refrained from most of the name calling & settled on Juviniles. One of the 50th celebrants named Ken Westby, decendant of the Spotted road Pioneers and cousin Minnie Westby had never met. I had the pleasure of introducing them.
Of the 19 graduating Students remaining of the Class of 49, 13 were present at our 60th Class reunion. Here are photos at both tables 1 & 2. Each person identified thanks to Peter Coffin.

Just a possibility, this could be a celebration after final exams with the school picnic at "Loon Lake, WA".

The picture of the Cub-Scouts with me in it represents a project my Mother put together as a puppet show. She made the puppets and we used a huge cardboard box as a stage. Part of the puppet show was a parody on hunting with an Erector Set car containing two puppet hunters chasing a puppet bear and deer. It was very successful and we were invited to show it to the chamber of commerce which was declined. (Courtesy of Peter Coffin)

One couple arrived that were unable to attend our Reunion supper. Phyllis Sloan Dale & her husband Dick. Here they are at our 60th Reunion Mixs Park location joined by Minnie Westby and her husband Glen Hayworth.
We are all in the neighborehood of 78 years of age and yet not one soul used a wheel chair, walker or even a cane. We are very proud of our class.
